Have you ever really cared for someone enough to dare say you love them and yet your family won't approve or agree with this love? In society today love is a rare spark that can burn out if taken for granted or treated for a poison. Yet, these aren't the only thing stopping love for a complete feeling. When seeing a love or pureness so strong not everyone will see it for what it is. That is where family and society can come into amazing or terrible affect. A love could be declined or seen as a stab to a culture. A love could be seen as unfit, unjust, or unnatural, but what's this to stop the lovers from loving? These ideals or ideas from family can hinder the mind and emotions of lovers and ruin a pressase and pure feeling, all the way to a dying star in a dark night sky. Reasons opinionated from society and families alone they fight this and decline its purity. Throughout the book we can see Juliet’s parents telling her about potential husbands. Juliet’s parents dare to even go to these men and discuss her with them. To a final point where Lord Capulet offers Juliet’s hand in marriage. For example, in Romeo and Juliet on pg. 171 it states, “Sir Paris! I’ll be so bold as to offer you my child’s love. I think she’ll be ruled by me in all respects; no more-have no doubt about it. Wife, go tell her before you go to bed. Tell her of young Paris’s love, and tell her-note this- that next Wednesday… hold on- what day it is today.” In the quote Lord Capulet offers Juliet’s hand to Paris.
