Sleeping sickness is present in 36 sub-Saharan African countries, with The DRC being the country with the most recorded cases that being 89% in 2013 (WHO). In this report the effects of Sleeping Sickness on The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) will be explored. It will look at how this disease has effected the country economically and socially.
