Title:
The effects of summer and winter seasons on human activities.
Investigative question:
Does the difference in season between summer and winter affect human activities?
Hypothesis:
In summer people will do more activities that require effort and energy whereas in winter people will stay indoors and conserve energy.
Motivation:
I have chosen to do this investigation into the effects of summer and winter season on human activities because of my observations made at a local restaurant on the choices made by individuals in different weather conditions. My research will help contribute to scientific knowledge as it will give a deeper understanding into why people behave according to temperature. My research can be used by businesses to improve sales as they will be able to determine which products and features should be sold according to the seasons. My research is also important as individuals will also be able to understand the reasons for their choices.
AIM:
The aim of my research is to determine whether people make decisions or choices according to seasons by taking two major differences such as summer and winter. With my research I hope to find an understanding into the homo sapien brain on why we make choices in modern day society. The results of my research will add to scientific knowledge and our understanding into our choices that we make every day.
