Despite the public being excited at the advancement in car technology, issues such as practicality and perhaps the American economic decline meant sales began to halt. A large marketing campaign and enhancements being made to the car were just not enough to entice customers to part with their hard earned cash. This was a desperate time for the once successful car company as their profits dropped dramatically. Ford stopped selling the first convertible of its time in 1959. Despite the end of the Skyliner production, Ford continued to utilize the model’s best features in its cars of the 1960s.

Many people can remember their first car, and if you're about 40 or 50 years old your first car may have been a real American muscle car. There happens to be a growing movement of people throughout the United States looking to purchase classic muscle cars to restore. The biggest reason for this is happening because nobody manufactures cars like this anymore. The big question is when is anyone going to make a real muscle car again? Chevy and Ford happen to be bringing out new versions of Camaro's and Mustangs ever since the 60's.
During this time he developed plans for a horseless carriage and Thomas Edison encouraged him to build a better model. In 1903, Henry Ford established the Ford Motor Company. He also introduced a revolutionary idea: an inexpensive automobile made by
Well, Ford got the name from Henry Ford, who was born on July 30, 1863, in Wayne County, Michigan and died April 7, 1947, in Dearborn Michigan. The man behind the Model T was known as Henry Ford. Henry Ford opened at Highland Park, Michigan, in 1913 to manufacture the Model T cars marked only the first step toward full mass production and the beginning of America’s worldwide industrial supremacy (Brands, 581). Ford Motor Company stated that Henry, “wanted the Model T to be affordable, simple to operate, and durable.” He did exactly so. The Model T is Ford’s universal car that put the world on wheels.

In the story we are only mentioned about Gregor’s metamorphosis and no one else really. But if you read the story closely, you start to realize that another character is also going through their own metamorphosis and that person is Gregor little sister, Grete. Grete metamorphosis is a little different from Gregor, mainly since he becomes into a giant insect, because she turns from a child into a very well presented adult. This is mentioned near the end of the story when her parents say that she has become into a fine young woman. This discussion will be a comparison of the two sibling’s metamorphosis on how they are alike and different.

Automobiles were affordable and were designed carefully. The majority of these cars were produced by the Ford Motor Company, led by Henry Ford, who designed a different model each year to satisfy the insatiable crowd. Many of the automotive innovations that we think of as being modern—like electric powered cars, four wheel drive, front wheel drive, hybrid fuel and electric cars—were introduced during the 1920s. The automobiles had various different colors in order to get the attention of people, especially woman, and through time, they evolved to become more comfortable to drive for men (Scott ,1). The automobiles were beneficial to the U.S because they expanded the area of habitat.
Although Henry Ford began the Ford Motor Company in 1903, it was not until 1908 that his business began to grow and become successful. In 1908 Ford first released the Model T automobile at a price of $825.00. He was able to offer the vehicle at such a low price because in the process of producing the Model T he also developed and perfected the moving assembly line. This reduced the assembly time by over fifty percent, which in turn reduced the price of the automobile. The Ford Motor Company has continued to grow and after over a century of being in business it is now worth around $199 billion.
But by this time Ford had a bigger vision for a better affordable vehicle. Ford began working closely with selected employees and they developed the Model T, introduced on October 1, 1908. The Model T exhibited simplicity and quality. Model T was a great success.

With all the new developments in both technology and society, one could argue that we are on the cusp of another renaissance. The first Renaissance was a series of changes that occurred because of changing views of religion and the world. Some of these changes included the ability to gain information more easily than before, a changing set of societal views, and styles of art changing. Similar to the first Renaissance, it is now the case that people are able to access information quickly without any special privilege. Another example of this is how society has changed dramatically since the first Renaissance.
