In the Ender’s Game book there are four main characters, Andrew Wiggins (Ender), Peter Wiggin, Valentine Wiggin, and Colonel Graff. Andrew is a six year old boy who is compassionate and ruthless. On the other hand Peter is the oldest in the family. He is crucial and manipulative. Valentine is the second oldest, who enjoys control and will do anything to protect Ender. Last but not least is Colonel Graff. He is manipulative and has faith in Ender. The book takes place in a future world where you are only allowed to have two children, but the Wiggins family gets granted a third child. He was being tested on how he would react after it had been removed. Knowing that the government wasn’t watching Stilson, the class bully, ganged up with his friends and beat Ender. Ender aggressively beats Stilson. Later that day Colonel Graff showed up at Enders house to take Ender away to Battle school even though he wasn’t sure about going, but he knew he had to go to save earth. On the flight to battle Ender shows the ability to visualize gravitational effects and Graff begins to isolate Ender from his classmates. He lives with others recruits called launchies which ends his isolation. He becomes friends with a recruit named Alai, who together figured out how to move through gravity. Ender then manages to advance farther than the others. The main conflict is man vs. himself, because Ender is lonely, depressed and miles away from home.
