The night of Kristallnacht and the rising tensions between our community forced our family to flee to the french border city of Natzwiller. Our family was strong in business as we were successful in revolution and our small workshop grew into a family empire as generations of Schneider lived to keep our proud business open through the wars and the depression. This shoe factory was crucial to us as it provided us success until the night of Kristallnacht. That night, the SA and our neighbors killed our Jared and family’s business. Almost two years in the city of Natzwiller, our family grew into eighteen and a new shoe empire was building until the Nazis invaded the city.
It ripped the whole entire north wall off the building. In total, it destroyed all nine floors killing 168 victims, 19 being children, and 650 plus wounded. With a short period of time, they found who was guilty. Even though Timothy was already in jail because he got pulled over for a license plate violation. Eventually his other Army friends surrendered and they were indicted for the bombing in August.
With a goal to inspire and a passion to pursue, New Berlin Blitz has founded five FIRST LEGO League teams with intentions to educate the younger minds in our community. To reach students in early elementary, New Berlin Blitz is in the works of starting a Jr. FLL team at Poplar Creek elementary. Our FLL teams are enrolled at two district elementary schools and one private school. We are currently working to expand even further, and hope to initiate FLL teams at the remaining two district elementary schools. Founded three years ago, these FLL teams have exceeded our expectations.

When Ben Kamm was in his early teen years Adolf Hitler was planning on his annihilation of all jews in Europe. When the time of the annihilation came The Nazis and Hitler were burning and/or vandalizing any jewish owned businesses. Jews were not even aloud to step foot in public parks, libraries or leave there house after 5pm. That is what Fighting Against Hitler, by Lauren Tarshis, is about.
In the article “Bombing survivor exemplifies resilience after miraculous recovery”, CBS News discusses how John Odom survives the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013 and surprises doctor by being able to walk again. He begins by describing that he was in Boston to cheer on his daughter for participating in the Boston marathon but never got the chance due to the debris from explosion that went on. Suddenly, John had too many problems, he was losing too much blood and was thinking he was going to be gone before all the help had gotten there. In addition, when John arrived at the hospital he was taken into immediate care and had many procedures done and was waiting to recover very soon. Birmingham 16th Street Church Bombing had a significant impact on the Civil Rights Movement in the United States.
When All Of Birmingham Went Silent It was a peaceful day in Birmingham, Alabama when the unthinkable happened. When people heard the blast, all of Birmingham went silent wondering “What was that noise?” The 16th street Baptist church had been bombed on September 15, 1963 at 10:22 am, shortly before Sunday services. This was the third bombing in 11 days. About 200 members were in the church at the time, but luckily only 23 were injured and 4 were killed.

The rise of the Nazi Party from 1933-1945 had a profound impact on the lives of many people throughout Europe. Innocent people including over a million children suffered at the hands of the Nazis. The Nazis slowly changed life politically, economically, and socially for many people. The rise of the Nazi party changed people in many ways especially the Jews. One of the ways were politically, The Jews weren’t able to have a citizenship and not were able to vote.
WWll started on 10/1/1939. The main enemies were the Germans and the Japanese. The Germans wanted all the Jews to die and to also wanted to expand their country and the Japanese wanted to expand their country as well. On December 7th, 1941, Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. The Japanese bombing Pearl Harbor caused Japanese Americans to face discrimination.

For years after the war and even today, people have debated over a massive question. Should the Americans have dropped nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki during WWII? There may never be a correct answer. In my own opinion, the U.S. made no mistake in dropping the two nuclear bombs on Japan.

With the Great Fire, one of the heroic firefighters, Edward Pulaski, saved almost all of his crew except The 1910s also had music. Bluegrass, jazz, and scat with many other genres.
The enemy was set on destroying the other sides’ economic resources. The allies bombed Munich was to strike fear into the hearts of the Germans. The allies used this tactic throughout World War 2. This tactic would later be known as “terror bombing”. They also did this was to tear the Germans apart physically and mentally.
