Scott Fitzgerald was a impressive book during its time that truly captured the era of the time. Later in life it spawned a movie adaptation that was just as impressive. This is a compare and contrast of both the movie and novel. The novel and movie were very in depth and had many similarities,such as the setting of the story being during the prohibition era and before the Great Depression this is supported by the movie being set in 1922 and the way gatsby earned some of his wealth through bootlegging,this is also stated in the novel “I found out what your drug stores …show more content…
