The scenery in these chapters were very vivid and made me feel as though I was in the story. For example, The curving bay with the waves creaming on the sand, the dunes country around seaside and right at the bottom of the hill, the

“Once the feet are put right, all the rest of him will follow”. Those were Aslan’s words on chapter 16 of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, as he was bringing a giant back to life after it had been turned into stone by the Witch. Susan was worried that the giant would cause more harm than good, but Aslan knew what was the right thing to be done. In the book, it states that it appeared to have many more people fighting for the Witch, than against her.

His day were normal like it used to be, but one thing is he is lonely all by himself. Humans, according to the philosopher Thomas Hobbes, are selfish by nature. In his landmark work, Leviathan, he explains the importance of a strong government in society. According to Hobbes, without a strong system of government people would revert into a primitive state; war would run rampant, the natural law would not be abided, and those once tamed by society would become evil. William Golding based his novel, Lord of The Flies, on a similar idea. In this novel, many characters digress from civility into savagery.

I am working towards being a real estate agent. I would enjoy this career path, because I like working with houses and interacting with people. My parents both own their own businesses so I always have interacted with the public throughout my whole life. My dad is my inspiration because he owns and rents houses. So, I not only want to sell houses
In the past I have struggled with my biracial identity. As a child I was confused about which community I belonged in because I am a mix of Navajo and Caucasian. As I got older, I began to question myself and who I was. I felt like I did not belong to either the Native or Caucasian community because in both groups I felt like someone else. I felt as if I had to live two lives that were completely separated.
We had cliques based over our interests and hobbies. I never thought of them differently. We were all just friends hanging out with each other.
The quote that Christopher includes from The Hound of the Baskervilles definitely relates to his outlook of the world. After doing some research behind the meaning of the quote I discovered that the quote was explaining the fact that Holmes has the capability to observe a multitude of details at once, which is also something that Christopher excels at. This is a fact that I feel even Christopher is aware of since he states, “But most people are lazy. They never look at everything… But if I am standing in a field in the countryside I notice everything.”
Fitting In: High School Edition Blake Lively once said, “In High School, there are so many cliques. You’re never safe” (Lively). Whether teenagers like it or not, there are a lot of different types of cliques in high school. There are the populars, (a.k.a. the jocks and cheerleaders) the nerds, the party animals (they are usually the troublemakers), the misfits, and then finally, the floaters.
