The Holocaust “RUN RUN! They 're going to kill us”. That 's what my mom said during the time that we were at our house hiding from the Nazis. We ran as fast as we can to hide from the Nazis but they still caught us. They threatened to shoot us if we didn 't stop running so it just just stopped running and hope they didn 't shoot us. I thank God that they didn 't shoot. “ Asher are you ok? I know you are scared but it will be ok.” That next day we were in a death camp. It was 9:00 when the guards woke my mom and I up. Everyone was banging on the cells. They opened the cells and told us to get in a line. We were at the cafeteria and we got little oatmeal ,bread and water. The guards said to share but it was to little to share for my mom and I. I made a friend named Gali she told us about the death list and that we are on it. 2 days later the guards grab me and say stay still. I see my mom in a hole. They tie me up on a chair. “ Stay quit!”. They hold a gun up to my mom and BOOM! “NOOO! MOM PLEASE MOM!” I was able to be set free and go. I took Gali with me to escape in the hole we made it out without getting caught. We ran as fast as we can to my house. “ Nothing 's there. My house is gone.” I said. Everything that I owned was gone Books blankets were gone. There was nothing left to be found. In a distance I saw boat with people in it ready to leave me and Gali ran to the boat and hope we would get on. “ Where are you going” I said. “ We are going to America. Care to join?” the woman said. We quickly got on and left. A couple weeks later we arrive at New York. We got off the boat with hoping no one saw us. I was hoping there was a place to stay with Gali and I. A woman comes up to us and says “ where are your parents?
