Homelessness affect thousands of people but has anyone ever thought about what really make someone homeless could it be lack of support, could it be laziness, or is it something that goes far deeper. I know lot of people who are homeless and it is because they are mental ill or the are just lazy as hell and don’t want to work. Then you have people that don’t have any family or friend to turn to so they end up of the street. Then you have the people that pretend that they are homeless and have more money than they know what to do with and they just want to fraud people which is awful and low down . I have seen many homeless people with kids willing to give their benefits away such as food stamps and utility checks that is supposed to be used to help them and just give to people just for drugs and money, something is truly wrong upstairs in their minds. My husband has a brother that rents out rooms to people and every month he gets check from the government for the people staying there and the people also get a check that is supposed to be used to get transportation to find jobs and other things. He has said that he has watched the people rent cars, buy beer and cigarettes instead of putting the money that they receive to good use. veterans that are homeless. These are people that have put their lives on the line and left their families behind so that this country can remind free and it seems like they are getting the short end of the stick and why is that. That is something that should not be happen especially here in America. Yes, these people made their own decision to join the military and make a commitment to protect and serve as an active duty member but these people should be compensated for everything that they have given to the country. American is one of the richest and the most power country in the world. These veterans should be the first people to get any type of help whether it is public housing, medical or psychiatrist treatment they should be getting it all no question or explanation needed or asked. I could not imagine dealing with all the trauma that these people have dealt with. One can only guess what is going though someone mind that had to run for their lives and kill enemies to make sure that we are able to walk around like a chicken with their head cut off. The government seems like the put the needs of the wrong people ahead of the right people and then wonder why so many veterans are going insane and committing suicide and killing and harming other. It is because they are not getting the assistance that they need just because someone says that they are ok and they function like how a normal person is supposed to
