The story “Two Lazy Hunters” is a Cherokee trickster tale. The Cherokee lived in the American southeast region. In particular, Georgia, South and North Carolina, Kentucky, Virginia, and Tennessee. Houses from the Cherokee tribe looked like a basket upside down. They were made out of bamboo from the river, tree branches, and were held together by dirt.

Walter Payton is an iconic role model to many people, and he has had an influence on others before his career and during it. One of the greatest running backs in NFL history, Walter Payton played his entire career with the Chicago Bears. When he retired, he was the all time leader in rushing yards and was one of the most beloved figures in sports. Walter Payton’s nickname was “Sweetness” to reflect his personality and playing style. “The smiley, goofy, soft-spoken Payton was a sweet person.
Walter was a shy kid who liked to be alone, yet he liked to prank his sister when he could. One reason Walter Payton became so good at juking was because his sister was always chasing him when they were young. As a boy, Walter was a boy scouts. Even though he was shy, Walter was always quick to play with his brother and friends. In summertime, Walter and the kids would play in the neighborhood but usually got in trouble.

It even showed up on my snapchat where the people I followed used the 15 second video app to express their disgust with the events. It was interesting to see the uproar, because this is not the first time a lion has been hunted and killed, animals have been treated brutally by humans for centuries.

Hunter being Hunted Adults as well as children long for action movies, or stories with an intensive plot involved with killing or violence. However, what if you were the hunter being hunted, meaning you were the predator's next prey. Of the year 1952, Carl Foreman wrote Highnoon, a screenplay, involving a man wanting revenge with three other of his friends to hunt the town's most respected marshal. As the suspense grew more and more in the dry town of Hadleyville, a showdown of events happened before a blink of an eye.
He fights Harry, the hotel manager, and calls him a “yellow, rotten, sadistic son of a bitch” after Harry belittles an African worker for spilling a drink (White Hunter, Black Heart 1990). Even though John loses the fight, his “Great White Hunter” attitude can be seen as he confidentially tells Peter, John’s best friend and scriptwriter, that he could have easily have won it and a fight was worth promoting as it “attributes [to] masculinity, without losing the refined status of whiteness” (Mayer 2002, 77). The fact that John is willing to get hurt for an individual who is seen as an inferior servant shows his idealized personality as the “Great White Hunter.” Differently from other characters, John’s primary goal in Africa is to kill one of their most treasured animals, the elephant, undermining his role as the “Great White Hunter.” The killing of this animal serves as a juxtaposition as Peter describes the elephants as “majestic,” “indestructible,” and “the miracle of creation” while John tries to find the biggest elephant to kill (White Hunter, Black Heart 1990).

The impact the news has on people’s emotions is very strong and can cause a lot of problems. “He asked the clerk to call a local television station. He wanted cameras there to film his rampage” (Whisenhunt). Michael Brandon Hill wanted people there that can get the information out faster because he knew the effect it would have on the people hearing about it. People commit these acts because it is “a desperate act committed by a deeply troubled individual who wants to die and feel validated in the process” (Whisenhunt).
At the very least, zoo directors were outraged at the news of both of these public dissections. The directors are fighting against the confusing oddity of the situations. They have brought up that these acts show arguable unkindness. They have also brought up that these actions are displaying the fact that these animals are being restricted from doing what they are born to do. Hunting, breeding, and exploring are all taken away when animals are captured for zoos (Parker).
