Just America or Just in War? Throughout the decades, history has recorded all the wars in which the United States has participated in. Some may consider that the United States’ participation in foreign affairs may have been cruel, or unnecessary; while in other cases, others find it essential for the United States to fight for the common good. Therefore, philosophers—in the pursuit of justice—have designed methods that dictate how a nation can justly engage into a war, one of this methods being the Just War theory.
When Managers assume employees will perform well if treated positively, and employees are able to make the work with all the responsibilities, are viewed as assets that should be valued and developed, is defined as theory Y. Ana Rios follow this definition by believing that employees enjoy duties, and are self motivated. One example would be when they are dancing in the store trying to enjoy their time while they work, Another example is that employees need to work hard accumulating points in order to get the reward. This is important since if theory Y is practiced more employees will feel respected and valued.
There is a constant threat to the United States and its citizens in the form of terrorism. Taking the proper steps is crucial to ensure the Homeland stays protected as well as the people that rightfully live in it. There are still many terrorist organizations that have explicitly spoken and wrote about having their ultimate goal to inflict terrorism on the United States. These organizations are being constantly monitored with professionals and counterterrorism agencies. The National Counterterrorism center is one of the leading agencies in gathering intelligence and reporting on potential terrorism activity.
The principles of the theory are pretty simple: A person must protect his or her reputation by not allowing others in the community to disrespect
The trait theory of leadership was first discovered in mid 1800s. It is closely tied to the great man theory whereby leaders are thought to be born and only those who were born with correct traits and quality are suited to leadership (Lee, 2014). It is a line of research which examine which characteristics we should pursue to lead effectively. The most common traits to leaders are intelligence, determination, integrity, self-confidence and sociability. However, different study shows that there are other traits such as knowledge, responsibility, emotional control, courage and trustworthiness to be linked to effective leaders.
Deterrence Theory A special case of the rational choice theory is the deterrence theory, which emphasizes the costs of legal sanctions (Liska & Messner, 1999). While the rational choice theory was initially applied to the field of economics, and considered all costs, the deterrence theory was initially applied to the field of law and only considered legal costs. Accordingly, as a deterrent for committing crime, increasing the severity of punishment, increasing the certainty of punishment, and increasing the celerity of punishment will all increase the legal costs for committing crime and, consequently, decrease the benefits versus cost ratio. Furthermore, there is a specific deterrence and a general deterrence (Barkan, 2006).
Contingency Theories of Leadership Within the movie, some of the characters show qualities of leadership that can change depending on the situation and the environment. Especially notable, the whole aspect of Inception is its emphasis on the dream world in the environment of one’s subconscious. A theory that is expressed throughout the situations in the movie is the Path-Goal theory. This theory is described to possess a leader who helps their followers by removing obstacles for them and giving them the best route to opportunity.
This paper will examine the three leadership theories, identify how they apply to my practice, and explore how these theories interact with each other. The Trait Leadership Theory is based on the belief that a person is born with special traits contributing to natural leadership abilities. Studies of famous historical leaders have been used to identify various traits for this theory. Although the list of traits differs from study to study, there are five major traits that are consistent throughout most studies.

In this regard, leaders and managers can appear at any level of an organisation and are not exclusive of each other (Germano, 2010). Leadership theories identify leaders based upon traits as well as how their influence and power is used to achieve organizational goals and objectives (Germano, 2010). As such, trait based characteristics include leaders such as autocratic, democratic, bureaucratic and charismatic. On the other hand, leadership that is viewed from the perspective of the exchange of power and its utilisation to secure outcomes, are situational, transactional and transformational leaders (Germano, 2010). It is of paramount importance to consider the different types of theories of management and leadership and their potential impact on organizational strategy being that management and leadership plays a vital role in the success of businesses.
According to Bauer and Erdogan (2010), we have Fiedler’s Contingency Theory, Situational Leadership, Path-Goal Theory of Leadership, and Vroom and Yetton’s Normative Decision Model. I will explain three of these theories one-by-one, then discuss their advantages and disadvantages, and then analyze how each fits with my personality traits and leadership method. Fiedler’s Contingency Theory is based upon the LPC scale of a person also known as the Least Preferred Coworker (Bauer & Erdogan, 2010). If you have a high LPC, that means you still think well of even the worst coworker you could imagine. If you have a low LPC, it means that you think that the coworker you would hate would also be a bad person.
The theory is also popularly used because gives the leader the capacity to develop a high self-esteem and self-confidence. When a leader has developed these skills, the leader is therefore capable of influencing others while trying to handle different situations in different times. In addition, self-confidence gives
Basically as already explained previously, the theory explains to us that employees have the desire to be friendly and want to create close interpersonal relationships. It is a system that works really well and would create a healthy work environment but in another point of view being over-friendly can cause just as much harm as good. Such acts could cause other parties to feel uncomfortable and can lead to cases such as sexual harassment even though it was not intended to. Creating close relationships are good at times but when the relationship goes sour, it can turn a healthy work environment into a pit of

The situational leadership theory would explain why the members of our team more adept in presenting skills took the leadership role, this being in accordance with situational demands and
