Shakespeare conveys the decisions people make when they are in love to a reader through Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet Act II Scene II is a play excerpt compiled by William Shakespeare. Romeo visited Juliet outside of her balcony when he hears her speak of her love for him. After considering the text and indentifying the message Shakespeare delivered, people who are in love and feel the world is against them will feel a greater attraction. Romeo exclaims, “It is my lady! O, it is my love” (Romeo and Juliet 2.2.10). Romeo felt genuine love for Juliet and had a greater attraction for Juliet because she was more beautiful than other women. Juliet begs, “Deny thy father and refuse thy name” (2.2.34). Juliet believed that the world
