Electricity is good fortunes that science has given to human being. It has also become a part of contemporary life of human and we cannot think of a world without electricity. Basic need like food, cloth, paper and many other things are produced with the help of electricity. Contemporary means of transportation and communication have been revolutionized by it. Contemporary devices like computers and mobiles have also been developed using electricity. Electricity plays a pivotal part in medical and surgical fields too.

Coal is one of the most able to afforded and largest domestically produced sources of energy in the India. It is used to generate an essential amount of our electricity. The environmental impact of the coal industry includes sally such as land use, waste management, water and air pollution, caused by the drawing coal from mines, processing and the use of its products. In addition to environmental hazard, coal burning produces hundreds of millions of tons of solid waste products perennially.

Renewable energy is energy source that can be renewed naturally, like deriving power from solar, wind, geothermal. Energy produced from the refining of biomass is also classified as renewable. Coal, oil natural gases are the finite sources available for us. Solar energy is obtained from the radiations of sun. The two main types of solar energy are active solar energy and passive solar energy. It is depend on how they store and distribute solar energy or convert it
