Literacy is the ability to read, write, design, speak and listen in a way that allows for communicating effectively in different contexts, given that the process of literacy lies not just in the ability to read and write, but rather in a child’s capacity to apply these skills to effectively connect, interpret and differentiate the challengesof the world in which they live. This process is crucial during the school life becauseit gives the students enormous benefits for their future in their academic life and other learning environments.
