Many aspects of physical exercise including hand and eye coordination rely on brain function. But the role of the brain in physical activities goes beyond precise movement-related skills. The organ also affects how a person can use their muscle effectively. This role of the brain has been targeted by a new headset, developed to increase the organ's neuroplasticity state.
Neuroplasticity of the brain is referred to its ability to adapt and change throughout life. The brain can learn so many things because of its natural capability to reorganize or rewire itself. When it rewires, the brain allows new connections between neurons to accommodate new information. Neuroplasticity begins when the brain has been formed during pregnancy. At every time the brain is injured, the ability mitigates the damage by

Daniel Chao, the headset is safe and has been certified by medical-grade safety protocols.
“We’ve also tested Halo Sport in-house on over 1,400 healthy volunteers, and have encountered no safety issues… I have built safety into the product at every step, including medical-grade safety and human factors engineering based on international standard ISO 14971, and recently we’ve collaborated with academic and industry partners to define additional engineering standards for consumer neurotech devices,” said Dr. Chao.
In their in-house study, about 1,010 subjects received tDCS in which 557 experienced active stimulation while 453 experienced a sham stimulation. Later, each subject was assessed for any adverse effects of the procedure. Results showed that 29 subjects suffered a headache -- 12 from the active group and 17 from the sham group -- while 9 subjects reported pain the scalp, 6 from the active group and 3 from the sham group; and a total of 3 subjects from the active group withdrew because of an unpleasant sensation. Additionally, the results reported no cases of burns, seizures or any serious injuries among the
