Texts become one of tools in human communication. Generally, text divided into two types, spoken and written. Linguistic study that provides the knowledge of text called Text Linguistic. A text will be defined as a communicative occurrence which meets seven standards of textuality. If the standards are not completed, the text will not be communicative.
In recent year, there are standards of textuality. Cohesion concerns about the dependencies of grammatical structure. Coherence concerns about the relation of idea and vocabulary in the text. Intentionality concerns on the writer’s intention to make the text. But if a text procedur intended to defy cohesion and coherence, communication would be slowed down and could break down altogether (cf. IX.
15ff). Acceptability concerns in readers’ coherency to the text. Informativity concerns about the relation of text with the occurance in the real life. Actually, every text is at least somewhat informative. Particularly it can be low informative, causing boredom or even rejection of the text. Situationality concerns in the factor of coherency between text and occurance. Last is intertextuality, concerns on the factors which make the utilization of one text dependent upon knowledge of one or more previously encountered texts. (R. De Beaugrande 1986, pp:3-10)
