France being one of the top leading tourist destination in the world, with over 83 million foreign tourist in the year of 2013, has had to face many different issues, whether positive or negative, to deal with the high demand of tourists. Frances offers almost anything a tourist could imagine, including vast and beautiful geography, attractions found nowhere else, and immense facilities. Along with these, France offers many other aspects for tourism such as, business tourism, wine tourism, mountain tourism, beach tourism, and many well-known destinations. Things such as Tour De France, top skiing destinations, and places such as Paris and Mont-Saint-Michel effect the social, environmental, and economic aspects of France in phenomenal ways that have many advantages but sometimes just as many disadvantages (“France, the world’s leading tourist destination,” 2013). The environmental impact that these attractions place on France are remarkable but not always in a negative way. In order to discuss the impact that these attraction place on France, we must first discuss some of the different types of seasonal environments that are offered in France and what their desirability to tourist are. There are four main seasonal types of environments in France, which include Seaside Resorts, mountain resorts, cities, and countryside’s.
