Recommended: Becoming an effective teacher
It had a strong education program, it was close to home, and my brother also went there (so I had the comfort of knowing people before I attended college there)”. She aimed for elementary degree and a special education degree. She was also into english and math at middle school level. At 2009, she became a teacher in Southern Middle School at
I am interested in Hult because Hult has one of the most culturally diverse classroom environments. I love learning about new cultures and making friends and building friendships from all over the world. I really like the idea of rotation, not that many university have it. Three different big cities in one year nothing could beat these. Hult has a variety of degree choices that are very
I am interested in Howard University because it is an HBCU that encompass the themes of cultural diversity and education. Your commitment to scholars ensures me that at your school I will be right at home. Since I intend on on going down a medical path, I know that Howard University will provide me with best resources to follow my dreams. As a child I was always interested in the worlds around me and how things worked. As a result I participated in a Summer Enrichment Program located at Indiana University in Bloomington.
I want to be admitted into UW Oshkosh to help me have a better education and brighter future. My high school diploma is the foundation of my education but my college education will be the main structure for my future. UW Oshkosh will provide me with more than just a degree, it will provide me with an experience that I don’t think I can find in any other college. I know UW Oshkosh is the right college for me. I am a good student for UW Oshkosh because I plan to be an involved member of the Oshkosh campus community, I am a hard worker, and I know getting a degree is how I will obtain a career I want.
I feel very grateful to have attended a school with such incredible and caring teachers and staff. Their passion and love for teaching and commitment to their students has truly made a lasting impact on my life. Not only did they provide me with an excellent education, but they also went above and beyond to support and encourage me throughout my academic journey. They were not afraid to answer questions I had, and were willing to do anything for me to succeed. Because of them, I was able to form lifelong friendships with classmates who share similar interests and goals.
As a tutor, I try my best to help others do well in the classes that they struggle in and to me being a tutor is worth it. When I sit in class, I always have a pencil in hand ready to learn and that is why I love education. The Early College Program will allow me to excel in the two things I love, to learn and to help
I have been blessed to be born in a country that provides a free education to all children and I believe that learning about the world is the key to a successful life. I wish to continue my education and learn all that I possibly can. My goals is life are to make a positive impact on the world and to to be happy. These may seem like simple goals, but higher education at Arizona State University will make an tremendous difference in being able to achieve these goals. I plan to pursue a degree in business with a focus in sustainability.
Why did you choose to become a Badger? I chose to attend UW-Madison primarily because it is one of the best institutions for biochemistry in the United States but also because I spent a lot of time in Madison and in Monona as a child with my parents and grandmother so the area already feels like home. What are you looking forward to while at UW-Madison? What I'm looking forward to most at Madison is being a part of a community where I can learn pretty much anything within walking distance of where I live.
This is also why I am interested in being a College of Education Ambassador. I want to make a difference and helping to promote the College of Education at Purdue provides the platform to do so. We have a great program that produces bright and innovative teachers. I believe the School of Education is a diamond in the rough at Purdue and is not one of the majors our University is known for.
I began college as a freshman at Central Michigan University thinking I was going to become an elementary teacher. I knew I wanted to make an impact on peoples lives but after my first week of classes, I remember telling myself becoming a teacher is not how I wanted to do it. I went to my counselor and added a social work course to my schedule. I had finally found courses I enjoyed taking and academically excelled in. Which brings me to where I am now, pursuing my degree in social work.
There are a few main reasons why I want to teach elementary school. One, teaching has a family-friendly schedule, which is my top priority as a mom of three kids. Two, I have found how valuable my own kids’ education has been and want to make an impact on other kids in my community. As an adult learner I know how important it is to continue to learn, grow in knowledge and be able to pass that on to others.
Also I believe that this school has also helped me to know what path to go on in my journey of becoming an engineer. This school has helped me learn what courses that I should take as well as what path to go in when it comes to being an engineer. I really enjoy engineering and I hope that when I grow up I will be able to reach my goal of becoming a biomedical engineer. I believe that when I become a biomedical engineer I would be able to create things for people all over the
I plan to go into the field of Education when I begin attending North Greenville University. I am pursuing this field because I have always felt a strong passion to assist in developing young children into successful adults. I feel that teachers are a type of superheroes that help children grow and set the foundation for prosperous lives. In elementary school, children learn how to read, write, and facts about science and history. Teaching children about the importance of conserving the environment is very crucial for the future of the earth.
When I first graduated high school I thought I wanted to be a pilot to fly airplanes, so I signed up to attend classes at Kishwaukee College located in DeKalb. ECC helped me sing up for classes at an in district rate because Elgin could not offer the courses that I wanted to me. During the first semester I found out that I did not want to become a pilot anymore and that I would be happier if I changed and focused on computer science. The advisors helped me schedule classes back at ECC for computer science then next semester. During the last year and a half at ECC I have been able to start fulfilling my education goals by getting a good education and find out what I want to go to college for.
To me this was a huge help because it was hard to be in a school that taught a language that I didn’t know. I was a fast learner and I adjusted well but without this teacher my transition would of been harder. While doing observation hours I was able to see kids that face the same struggles I once did and it’s not easy.
