The reason why we are here today, in this country, is because of the vision that the founding fathers all agreed on that September night in Independence Hall, that vision is the same vision that made my family emigrate here from Scotland in the early 19th century, that vision was the same vision that bought the Louisiana Territory, that vision allowed two men and a native american women to travel across a vast wilderness into the unknown, that vision abolished all forms of slavery across the country, that vision allowed both genders the right to vote and hold public office, that vision allowed this country to survive the world's biggest economic downturn while others succumbed to evil tyrants, that vision allowed this country to endure massive conflicts and come out stronger than ever, that vision put a man on the moon, that vision allowed this country to successfully retaliate against some of the world's largest villains. This vision has been the same as it has been for years, although, my generation has been bestowed a great burden of responsibility that will affect the country as much as the founding fathers had on the nation of it’s establishment in 1787. …show more content…

No one is certain who next in this country will suffer from an act against the basic human rights pledged to be secured by the Declaration of Independence that, “all men are created equal”, yet it always occurs to be a problem for some of the most vulnerable of people. This problem won’t be simply solved by one organization or group of people, but the vision is not just one I have, but many of my peers agree with is that we must see every person as fellow brothers and not outsiders, and we all must work in a common effort to enrich our own lives and everyone
