The day had finally come, and the counting of days was over. People traveled thousands of miles from all over the world just to see my decision. The arena seemed as if it was about to explode with how many people there were. Then my heart began to beat faster and faster until the twin doors swung open, it felt as if I was dipped in icy water. The prince walked out and looked even more charming than the last time I saw him. The volume of the arena rose as soon as the audience laid eyes on the prince. Then the prince looked up to where I was sitting and looked me straight into the eyes, searching for an answer. I raised by hand and slowly pointed towards the right door. I had seen the prince with the bride before, laughing, smiling, and talking to her. He’d always show more affection towards her and would try to spend time with the bride than he ever did to me. Just a day before the prince's punishment he told me “I love you” though if that was the truth is uncertain. I had made my decision days prior, after a good while thinking. The choice was in my hands, to make the prince have a brutal death, or have him live a happy life. I’d always enjoy watching people be punished in the arena so does my father, which comes from our heartless family. That is why I have no mercy for anyone and pointed to the right door which held the tiger. The prince turned his body towards the two large wooden doors, sending dust into the air while doing so. The audience went silent and the only sound that could be herd is the prince’s heavy breathing. The prince raised his clammy and shaking hand up to the large wooden doors. I couldn’t help but have a large grin on my face, eager to see him ripped to pieces by the tiger. Before I was about to start laughing at the prince, my whole body froze and my jaw
