I saw a video trailer for a full-length movie about a project called, “The Landfill Philharmonic” and it was inspiring. I can imagine a world is filled of garage, but people don’t give up and start create something new. I never seen an instrument is made of garage and how they play with it. It is telling me that no matter how darkness the life give us, we will always find a light. In this trailer, it is about people who is very poor and lives in the garbage. They had a idea to make instruments and play it. I love how Favio Chavez said, “The world sends us garbage… we send back music” because it reminds me that if people said mean things, kill them with kindness. I really wanted to watch this movie because I felt these children who play music will bring the happiness to the town. How do they make instruments out of garage? Is it hard? I always asking myself and really impressed when they play it, it has the similar sounds. A lot of people think it is waste because it is garage that covered with filth. When I saw a video, I was upset that an artist wrote in Spanish but, suddenly a music from this era played while he is drawing. I was shocked and wanted to see more. The artist used a timeline like Ancient music, Medieval music, Renaissance music, Baroque music, Classical music, Romantic music, and 20th and 21h century music (Jazz, Blues, Rock, Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, and Electronic). It was amusing when he draw Beethoven, Mozart, Elvis, and The Beatles and I really love it. It was incredible when he connected the music to the drawings like if he draw Beethoven, his music play. It is like a time machine to see all different types of music. But I really like if he put in English so we can have more understanding the history of
