For example, when I learned how to read, the knowledge of learning new words began to stick with me forever, because once I gained the awareness to do so it was just an addition to what I already knew. As a result, it opened up different ways for me to apply those building blocks in different aspects of my life. Although, I don’t apply the basics of learning new words very often anymore, the knowledge the that was acquired from it is still valuable. And it enables me to take it step further in my life, from that knowledge I was able to obtain. An individual can give one’s account of knowledge through their personal experiences and one way of doing this is through art The arts are another area of knowledge that reflects this argument. Art is something that has been influenced from different counterparts of other art works. One good example of this is The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci. Da Vinci was the one of the most influential painters of the Renaissance period and is also an impact on artwork today. The Last Supper was highly influenced by religion which paved a way for others after him to do art similar Da Vinci’s style. You can see his influence reflected in the work of Fred Baumbach, who paints perceptive art inspired by his religious faith in Jesus Christ. The whole point of art is to display it to the public and share ideas, theories, feelings, or values to the world. Furthermore, that supports the fact that it is a personal knowledge and as it is shown it effects individuals, especially other artists. Whether that be a singer/songwriter, rapper, an author, or dancer, they all share their own form of work. When it comes to applying it to the world, if they didn’t share their art then they wouldn’t be considered artist period. Art is a very big part of me and one of my talents, I love to dance and listen to music. They are what make me who I am, without the influence of art I wouldn’t be able to share my talent to the world and have that outside inspiration to do so. If there was no application of art and sharing of ideas, then the capability of it would go unnoticed. Although, imagination is personal knowledge, it does not have to be shared or applied to be recognized as a valuable counterpart. Art and religion go hand in hand because of their application of ideas and its influence on the world. Everyone is able to form their own analysis is the art and it causes to draw feeling and feedback from the viewer. This relates back to when I had gone on a school field trip to an art museum and had analyzed an art piece called Self-Portrait by Francis Bacon. I experienced different emotions from the artwork, those of sadness and loneliness that the artist most likely wanted us to know he felt at the time.
