Once, a cat named Cradle was strolling through the forest, looking for food that would fill up his empty stomach. Unfortunately, he’s been starving for days and was truly desperate to find something to eat. Cruelly, the animals in Uganda truly disliked Cradle. They wanted him to disappear into the village. As Cradle continued to wander through the forest, he quickly realized something was off. Suddenly the atmosphere felt peculiar and uninviting. The night sky was purely dark, the towering trees in the forest swayed violently, and the air was cold as ice, it made Cradle shiver. Without a shadow of doubt, he dashed as quickly as he could. When he reached the village, everyone appeared to be surprised. This was not because he returned, but because he was holding something they wouldn’t expect to see again. “It’s been a long time! Finally, someone found it! That is the magical string game that was lost during the ancient time. It requires two people to pass the string back and forth to make a string figure and whoever drops the formation of the string loses and the one who wins gains higher skills and power.” The fox joyfully declared to everyone. “According to the old ruler of this village, whoever finds it will become the next leader. Knowing that he’s too weak and fragile. Jealousy is certainly evident in their eyes, however they didn’t have a choice but to accept Cradle as their leader. As the days went by, they accepted Cradle for who he is, and they finally realized their mistakes. Despite of the awful treatment they had given him, Cradle showed nothing but courtesy and benevolence. For the following days, animals in the village surely enjoyed the string game.
