Would you lie to protect someone? Or would you lie to Help yourself? Others however may lie to cause Harm. In many cases of deception the lie would either be in the interest of the liar, to help someone they care about, or just to cause pure harm.. IN Shakesphere’s Much Ado about nothing, there are many instances of such deception. However the biggest deception would be of Don John’s. In this case it would be in the intrest of the liar just to cause pure misery to others. It caused the most harm, not only in Hero’s and Claudio’s life but in everyone who was there.

Don Jhon had lied, and Tricked Claudio to think that Hero was cheating on him with another man. However, This man happened to be Don John’s partner in crime, Borachio< who instead of wooing Hero, was wooing Margeret who was Hero’s maid. These people who disagree would classify the lie as “Lies in the intrest of the liar.” This also shows how many liars in real life and Don John are similar. For example, Hitler lied that the Jews were at fault for the loss of World War 1, which would be a “Lie to cause har.” However, people who are favoring Hitler would classify it as “Lie in the intrest of the Liar” because they would say this also indeed did no harm and everything was resolved in the ended.

First of all in the Hitler scenario, many people were killed and tourtured with guns and weapons.
