While researching the trade on locksmithing, I found it to be a very respectable paying, high demand, and important job. In all of the sources I have read, they have concurred that you have to love your job in order to be the most successful in the locksmithing trade. As stated by Ralph Goodman, “If you can’t do what you love, love what you do.” Ralph Goodman uses quotes from other locksmiths to express the idea that this field of study is a very good career, because people that are locksmiths usually like what they do, learn an abundance of new things, and also receive a respectable compensation. My main goal in this paper is to inform you why locksmithing is considered to not only be a good, but very important trade.
