I already knew a good amount about my topic before starting my research so it wasn't too hard. I knew some of the most contreversial topics so I just researched those more deeply. I did not know anything about the laws behind gambling so I started there. It wasn't too hard I just found a government website that had the laws that were relevent to this topic. Then from there I just searched for some statistics about how many people gamble and how much money is spent. Then I watched the Frontline video to get some more ideas and used everything I learned to write this paper.

Some people win or lose only a little bit of money, but have tons of fun with friends and makes watching the games much more enjoyable. While it’s true that some people have their lives ruined to addiction, there are ways for them to get help and it shouldn’t stop the majority of people from having fun. Many people have won and lost large amounts of money from gambling and it has affected their lives more than they ever imagined. Thanks to all the loopholes that these gambling websites have found, it is easier than ever for people to win or lose thousands of dollars a day predicting sports game outcomes. The U.S. government does not include fantasy sports as a form of gambling and so there aren’t many, if any, restrictions on it. This allows websites like Draftkings and Fanduel to make hundreds of thousands of dollars.
