Book Report The Maze Runner is an exciting Sci-fi, entertainment book. The protagonist of the story is Thomas. He arrives in the Glade with no knowledge of who he is or was. He only remembers his name and nothing else about his life. Thomas proves to be brave, loyal, and clever, with isolated telepathic powers and a very limited memory of previous knowledge of the Maze. The Key characters in the book are, Alby (the alpha in the Glade), Newt (Alby’s second hand), and Teresa (only girl to enter the Glade). This book shows great knowledge on the minds of teens trying to solve their hardest test they have ever taken in their life, surviving “The Maze”.

When the elevator reaches to the top and the top of elevator opens, he is pulled up into this huge area of land surrounded by tall walls. He’s surrounded by a bunch of teenage boys, who also have no memory of their past lives, other than their name. Thomas gradually discovers that where he is at, is called the Glade, according to all the teenage boys. The Glade is run by two boys, Alby and Newt, who maintain order by enforcing strict rules. Everyone has a job to keep them always busy, by harvesting food and whatnot. Their a community and everyone must participate and follow the rules so they can function and live together, to survive. Outside of the Glade is a Maze, the walls are covered with ivy, inside the Maze there's unknown creatures known as Grievers, because of the sound they make. So they're stuck inside trying to stay alive as well as “solving” the Maze by having a group of people run into the maze and map out the Maze and track its movements.
