Moses was a part of this land, being a prophet to God. So that leads to how did the bible, the holiest of literature, make its way down from up above and get to the people? For all we know, it could’ve been written by a guy named Jeff in the earliest of times. Also, there are well known pastors and leaders spreading the word of god and supposedly changing people’s lives. How do they know that they were ever certified by God?

I do believe that, it is important to learn the history, meaning and behind God’s plan for the Bible in our regular day lives. In the meantime, I would like to highlight the fact that, nevertheless, the Bible is all God’s Word, but, it is also good, in order to better appreciate, that Christians study other scriptures such as Old and New Testament, Gospel, the Psalms, Proverbs, Wisdom, and so forth. There are differences about the scriptures, for example, the Bible describes God’s word to us, whereas the psalms, are prayers written to God as poetry is set to music. When talking about the bible it is not important to reach the conclusion on the conversation it is important to start the conversation. Interpretation of the bible needs to be an open mind. Some people are going to think differently of the bible than you; but you have to keep an open mind because there is no right or wrong answer. You also have to forget what everyone else is telling you about the bible to be able to have your view and interpret what you think of it with the opinion of other people. The bible does not only have one view and as Brueggemann states, “The Bible requires human interpretation which is inescapably subjective.”

By contrast, the New Testament focuses on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Even though, both the Tanakh and Holy Bible are different by nature, there is similarity between the two. Moreover, the Torah is actually the first five books of the Holy Bible: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.
Bible is a very famous book for most people to read, special from those people who have the religion. And the history of the Bible can data back to a long time ago. “The Bible was written over a span of 1500 years, by 40 writers. Unlike other religious writings, the Bible reads as a factual news account of real events, places, people, and dialogue. ”(History of the Bible).
In the Bible, we can trace all the papers back to the days of Peter and the early church fathers. They have numerous amounts of evidence from documents and records from the Church Councils. Multiple religions believed their books were divinely inspired such as the Muslims and Mormons. Catholics believed otherwise, they though it had a unique style and language. We know the books in the Bible should be in the Bible because the church tells us so.
What I found to be amazing was the diversity of beliefs among persons claiming to follow the same deity. If you place the Holy Bible on a table and invite members of the abovementioned denominations to discuss various issues, you will never attain full concordance. So if this is the 'Word of God', why is it not straightforward, but open to so many different interpretations, resulting in division, acrimony, bigotry, a sense of entitlement, intolerance, human-rights abuses and even war?
The Bible is of extreme importance. It teaches us about the God of the universe and about the Christ who gave his life in order to set man free from sin, Satan, and death, but the scriptures are not to be exalted to the position of deity. There have been, at times, an over exaggerated reverence for the scriptures, one that borders on or even engages in idolatry. Some people will make sure they have a Bible in their home or open on some pedestal, but never read it. For these types of people, the Bible takes on a magical aspect where they view it more like a lucky charm or talisman.
