Mass production is one of the most important outcomes of the Industrial Revolution because it has mainly shaped our economy and business today. Mass production provides us with all the products and goods we use today, from our clothing to medicine or vehicles. Technically mass production began in the mid-eighteenth century in Britain. Machine tools were the first machines able to mass produce products, an example of these machines is when furniture manufacturers could replicate pieces of furniture almost identical in size and material specifications. Mass production became huge when the industrialist from the United States named Henry Ford, owner of Ford Motor Company, began mass production through an assembly line method used in his factories
