The Neolithic Resolution was the first agricultural revolution. It was a gradual change from nomadic hunting, and gathering communities, and band to agriculture and settlements. This period is described as a ' resolution'. It changed the way of life. It occurred in different prehistoric human societies.

From almost the whole of human history, from at least 3 million years ago. mankind has lived by carrying out these basic activities of hunting ( or fishing) . We have unusual among animals in combining the two functions . We have been greatly helped in both by the development of language.

Wide scale transition of many human cultures. From a lifestyle of hunting and gathering to one of agriculture and settlements. These settlements
