Romeo and Juliet is a tragic love story written by Shakespeare, which shows two couple who are “madly in love” with each other. Both of them are also from different families and, unfortunately, both families are at war with each other. Romeo is 17 and already has his eyes set on Rosaline, and Juliet is already set up to be with Count Paris. They’re many reasons why Juliet killed herself, but mainly because of the events that led up to it. To be with Juliet forever and out of true love. The first time Romeo saw Juliet was because he was trying to get his mind off of Rosaline so he went to the Capulets party “The beautiful Rosaline whom you love so much will be at the Capulet’s traditional feast, along with every beautiful woman in Verona. Then Romeo hears about Juliet and thinks she’s actually dead. Romeo then goes to Juliet’s grave and kills himself by drinking poison, and once Juliet wakes up and sees Romeo dead she kills herself. Once the Montagues and the Capulets find out about this they unite and become friends once again. Juliet’s reason for death is because she didn’t want to marry Count Paris. First off she was a 14-year-old girl (young lady marrying an older man) which she didn’t even know if she wanted to marry him. she was kind of being forced into this marriage (because Count Parris came from a very wealthy family). and her parents would want her to be in that great of the state. If Juliet and Romeo never died then the Capulets and Montagues would never have united and all war would be gone, but together they taught the families to both be accepting of one
