When people sit and think about the story Romeo and Juliet they think “why did they have to die”. The reason they died was because Capulet organized a party for Paris to meet Juliet. When Capulet wrote the invitations he forgot that his servant couldn’t read. Because of this the servant had to get help from romeo to see who to give the invitations. Tybalt would later be killed by Romeo causing the capulets to want the marriage to be sooner. Because of the party Paris was given the opportunity to marry Juliet causing her to be more desperate to get out of the marriage. The reason that Romeo and Juliet die at the end of the story is because Lord Capulet wanted to have a party for Paris and Juliet to meet. “And can never find what names the writing person hath here writ.” (Romeo and Juliet, Act 1 scene 2, 37). This was a line said by the servant who was responsible for delivering the invitations. Because he can’t read he needed to find someone who was able to read. “God 'i' good e'en. She went to the friar to ask for a way out of the marriage. If the wedding had not been scheduled and Lord Capulet had waited until she was fourteen like it was originally planned. Juliet would have had time to come up with a plan to get back with Romeo again. “Friar, that thou hear’st of this, Unless thou tell me how I may prevent it.
