In the history of the USA, we have had many presidents. Some ranging from truly amazing ones and ones who have brought our nation down. The perfect president is yet to be found, but maybe we can choose the best of what we have. The most important thing we have to look for in a president is not looks or wealth, but the characteristics that shine through them that would make them the perfect candidate. A lot of people have their perfect president in their own mind, but I 'm here to tell you about mine.

The last trait is honesty, something everyone in the government should have. The president should automatically have this trait if they are running out for the leader of this country. He/she is going to have loads of problems on their hands and they need to be able to be trusted to give us the truth behind them. Honesty can sometimes be hurtful or gruesome, but it is better than being kept in the shadows of your government. The government is always being accused of keeping things from us, we as a whole country should be given every piece of information we can have to try to stop any conflict that could be brewing behind closed doors of democracy. What if the problems with such as him or her stealing from the government you would want to know the truth instead of them being a coward and not admitting it. The presidency is something no one should have if they are not to be truthful to keeping our country out of the shadows of lies the government keeps giving us. For example the Watergate Scandal was an example of why honesty is really important to be had. If we had not found out , President Nixon would have gotten away with one of the biggest lies in American history. In conclusion, the presidents of the past have come and gone ,but not one has been the perfect one. As of right now ,our presidency choices are not very bountiful. The president should be considering what they will be entering once they are declared president. This is a crucial job over a nation that could revolt at anytime, but if they manage to bring out there best traits for us, America could have a chance. These traits are my opinion, others may think the same or not, but we have a chance to find a president who fulfills the job that our founding
