Introduction
Utopian societies, while wanting to gain perfection and obtain the overall goal of good, Utopias have severe negative effects of the people that live in these communities. While not all live under dictatorships and these severe conditions the majority get to caught up in achieving these goals that actually cause more harm to a society than good. This inspires my nation to be one of the few where Utopia lives out its original intent of the common good and having the people in mind to not only be successful but come together to obtain peace and joy in the community. (1972) This Utopian town sounds favorable to me because it is self sufficient. The community offers solar building designs and an overall pioneer life. “Summertown” sounds like a time where everyone lives a simple time and easy life. This to me is the perfect Utopian society where it is not motivated by dictator mind set to a perfect world. “Summertown" is focused on a life of everyone working together to bring the common good of the community. From farming and gardening which everyone has their own role where everyone comes together rather than to rely on the outside world. Another favorable Utopian society is the “Shakers” this community is similar to “Summertown" but has more of a religious affiliated affect on its community. Which believes they have a duty to God, that came through a vision within their community. Which is the basis for all things being simple-minded and having a society known for their simplicity and revelation that God had called them to be the chosen people of America. Separation of Powers and Checks in Balances are examples of organized government. This is to carried in a way that is designed that the people cannot simply take over and carry their own rules to over power society. Overall just keeps society structured and well maintained.
