For our book review project we read the book The Prince by Kiera Cass. In our opinion the book was good, but we would probably give the book 4 stars because it wasn't as exciting as the selection. The publisher of The Prince is Harper teen. It was published on February 4, 2014 in New York and New Zealand. Cass is a graduate from Radford University. She currently lives in Blacksburg, Virginia. She has approximately kissed 14 boys in her life, although, none of them were princes. She wasn't as lucky as America. Kiera Cass has a very unique word choice and brings her writing to life with the amazing detail she provides. Kiera Cass who has a very sophisticated writing style brings out the characters emotion in the story. The story goes through Maxons thoughts about the selection and what he is thinking about the girls. On page 50, line 6-7, Cass shows this with a hyperbole, “These girls were already turning me into a puddle of stupid.” In this story, Kass adds a natural tone to her writing. For example, on page 62, line 15-17, it says,"There was a certain . . . royal air she didn’t seem to possess, though there was, perhaps, something regal in her pride." …show more content…

“And attractive.” Yes! “And thoughtful.” YES! I was grinning, looking like an idiot, I’m sure, so pleased she managed to see something positive in me after last night.” That in one of the parts we thought was very cute.
