There was no love for these dogs as their fate seemed to only hold darkness and hate(Animal Fighting Case Study: Michael Vick).Dog fighting is a worldwide crime that includes gambling, animal cruelty and horrible futures. Even though many say that a dog is their property, dog fighting is a horrible, cruel sport that should have a harsher punishment because it is animal cruelty and was made by cruel, heartless people who deserve to die a tragic death. Fighting dog owners usually try to save themselves by claiming that ‘the dog is their property, they can do what they want”. As a dog is –technically- one’s property, this claim does have some truth to it.. A fighting dog owner usually pays or adopts the dog, so the dog would be considered legal propertySome people have anger management and this helps them.
They don’t deserve being tortured. This needs to stop now! I get that some people have had bad experiences with dogs and don’t like them, but there are dog out there that are nice, sweet , and loving. Even people who are allergic to dogs, there are dogs with no fur or have hair. Just because something happened in to you because of a dog you don’t have to hate all
Hounds are made to kill anyone that breaks the law. The government doesn 't care if violence is used, its part of life. “A four inch hollow steel needle plugged down from the proboscis of the Hound to inject massive jolts of morphine and procaine.” (Bradbury 22).
Worst of all there are times when dogs die of being beaten, whipped and kicked. This can happen when the dog is not going fast enough, or if they are slowing down the pack, the owner would kill them or hurt them so they would go faster. Owners can be awful to their dogs, at checkpoints dogs drink out of rusty buckets, when the dog is sick they are sometimes forced to run and sometimes the owners just don’t care enough for their dogs as they do
What people have yet to understand is dogs can not be generalized by a breed. Dogs are individual, and do have individual faults genetically and from how they’ve been treated in their lifetime. Its likely that a dog who has experienced trauma in their lifetime will attack unpredictable but the dog nor the breed is at blame for that. Humans need to realize that though our dogs love us and are a part of the family, they are still dogs and not humans. Dogs of any breed will relate human nature to dog nature and may take normal human signals as aggressive dog signals.
If treated in such a way any dog would become aggressive. Dog fighting is one of the greatest evils in the world and has many more consequences than just harming
Dogs should not be executed for biting someone because it could be how they were raised. People raise their dogs to protect them and their family or home. Just because the dog bites the mail man when they bring the mail, does not mean they are mean and should be executed. It means the owner trained the dog to protect the house and they are doing what they were trained to do. Cops raise K9’s to protect the community from danger and they use them to get the suspect and they don’t get executed.
That is a very very low number because each year approximately 2.7 million animals are euthanized (For veterinarians, Iditarod is all about the sled dogs). Out of those 1.2 million of those are dogs. Some of those does are at kill shelters because they were abandoned. So it’s that also animal cruelty if a dog is healthy so why would you kill them.
The Power of Negative vs. Positive Although only positive dog training has been deemed the most humane and valid way to train dogs, a mix of positive and negative training is more effective and lasts longer. Sadly, our world has a very bad perspective of what negative dog training is. People have one bad experience with one bad trainer and think all negative dog trainers are as cold as the original might have been.
These dogs are specially trained to protect their handlers, they will help their partner in any situation, and at any cost. In Mississippi a police dog saves his partners life, A manhunt is underway Wednesday for the three suspects who beat Hancock County Sheriff's Deputy Todd Frazier and slashed him with a box cutter. The loyal companion jumped out of the police cruiser and ran after the suspect he had his handler, Lucas the K9 go to the suspect and bit him 3 different times until he let his partner go. Lucas saved his partners life that night, he was then rewarded with a metal for his bravery. Lucas saved his handlers life without hesitation.
The dogs who lose the fight cause the owner to lose money so the dog is often tortured, set on fire, electrocuted, shot, drowned, or beaten to death. If the dog wins the fight, it is often quite beat up as well so they end up collecting the money and abandoning the dog. If the dogs used in fighting, are re-homed they’re very traumatized and usually can't be around other animals or small children. The extent of the abuse causes extreme, long term drama. It is very difficult to rehome the dog and give them a better life so they are often just put down.

“Within the Special maritime and territorial jurisdiction of the United States. Whoever is guilty of murder in the first degree shall be punished by death or by imprisonment for life” (U.S. code of law). We live in a country where taking a life is a serious crime, unless that it 's a life of an animal, which can neither speak nor understand the horrifying actions that are being carried out. Pets can think, feel and act, just like people do, they’re alive. If animals are alive, like humans, then why should taking away their life result in a maximum 2 years in prison and a fine that never exceeds 1,000 dollars?
