Dropping a nuke on a country can cause lots of difficulty. The Americans dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima was the most controversial topics in American history. Truman was the active president who made the final decision for this act. Many people believe that Truman made the correct decision while others are in complete disagreement with the decision. President Truman made the correct choice in dropping the atomic bomb because it showed the United States had power, it helped end the war quickly, and saved many lives.
It 's challenging to look back at events and understand the logic of using an atomic bomb without allowing one scrap of knowledge to creep into our decision making. All of this being said, it 's still possible to come to the conclusion that using this weapon was wrong. The belief that a military blockade would end the war wasn 't believed any more than a military blockade without invasion of Germany would work. The notion that Japan was teetering on surrender is silly.
The Atomic Bombs. The dropping of the atomic bombs on japan was not justified, giving them no warning the U.S. went through and dropped the bomb to end war faster killing thousands of people. Considering the fact that this happened during world war 2, many were left dead, hurt, and with destroyed cities, due to japan not wanting to surrender, citizens of japan and the people in japan were impacted by this action. The United States, dropped theses bombs with not one single warning, above cities, and they did it to impress Russia.
From my stand point, I believe that President Harry Truman felt he had no other choice. The Japanese were not going to surrender and Truman made a military decision to use the first atomic bomb. I truly feel the bomb was necessary and crucial to ending the World War II. There were already so many casualties and, yes, the bombing did produce many casualties but what if we had not used the bomb; how many casualties would there have been if the war just had continued? By using the atomic bombs, Truman ensured that no more American lives would be spared and protecting Americans was his top priority.
On August 6, 1945 the U.S. dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan. On August 9, the second bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, Japan. As of today, the United States Government made the right decision about having dropped the atomic bombs on Japan because it caused the total surrender of Japan, it saved civilian lives, and it kept the peace balanced across the allies. On August 15, 1945 just 6 days after the second bomb was dropped the japanese announced their total surrender and on September 2, the instrument of surrender was signed.
Saving Thousands Only To Kill Thousands, Was The Atomic Bomb Necessary? On August 6, 1945 an American B-29 bomber dropped the world’s first atomic bomb over the Japanese city of Hiroshima. The bomb had an unprecedented explosion that wiped out over 90 percent of the city killing over 80,000 people; and thousands more would die later due to radiation. Three days later, as the Japanese were mourning for the dead; a second B-29 dropped another bomb killing over 40,000 people.
Harry Truman, the president of the United States decision to drop an atomic bomb on Japan was wrong. The two bombing incidents, occurring on August 6 and 9, 1945, at Hiroshima and Nagasaki killed over 200,000 Japanese people, and many who were innocent. Many famous scientists, living in the United States of America, ultimately, did not agree with Truman's decision to drop the bomb. Famous scientist, Albert Einstein, was part of the Manhattan Project, which was the idea of developing the atomic bomb, to later use on Japan to end World War 2 in 1945.
The Atomic Bomb was only supposed to be used for defense only. In August 1945, President Truman decided to drop two atomic bombs on Japan. I think Enola Gay shouldn’t have dropped the Atomic Bomb. I’m going to tell you why.
I think that the Atomic bomb shouldn’t have been invented but I think dropping the Atomic Bomb was necessary to help and show the danger of it. If the atomic bomb was never dropped anything could have happened Russia could have dealt with it, but if that happened Japan would still be working on military weapons, and try to take of the Pacific again or tag team on America. Since America dropped the Atomic bomb the world learned the power and danger of it, and seeing the survivors and the environment showed that the U.S had no idea on what power they were up against. If the U.S didn’t drop the bomb some other country would figure out the power and try to take over the world with it or end up destroying it. The radiation from the two atomic bombs
According to the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission, a "dirty bomb" is one type of a radiological dispersal device (RDD) that combines conventional explosives, such as dynamite, with radioactive material. The names “dirty bomb” and RDD are used interchangeably in the media. Most RDDs would not discharge enough radiation to execute individuals or cause serious ailment - the ordinary unstable itself would be more unsafe to people than the radioactive material. In any case, contingent upon the circumstance, a RDD blast could make dread and frenzy, taint property, and require conceivably exorbitant cleanup. Making quick, exact data accessible to general society may keep the frenzy looked for by terrorists.
The atomic bomb was something that should have never been created because of how powerful and dangerous it is. In addition, the creation brought about a lot of unrepairable suffering and damage. The catastrophic consequences of the atomic bomb are forever embedded. Many innocent people
The US is always in a threat as we have picked up many enemies whether it is North Korea, ISIS, or Russia. In 1942 during World War 2, the US launched the Manhattan Project, which was the project to produce the first US nuclear weapon. We completed the nuclear bombs and destroyed the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan. Over 300,000 people died from these bombs essentially ending the war. These numbers demonstrate the amount people that were killed from 2 bombs.
What would be the first thing that would go through your mind if you woke up tomorrow and saw that a nuclear bomb had been dropped on us. Nobody wants to think about what could happen if a nuclear war started today or tomorrow. We know how dangerous nukes are because of the destruction our government inflicted on Nagasaki and Hiroshima in 1945, but why was that justifiable? Today, only a simple majority thinks it was “ok” to drop the atom bombs so many years ago, while back in 1945 more than ⅔ of Americans were all for it. The dropping of multiple nukes on Japan was completely necessary because it saved many american lives, quickly ended the war, and it showed the world what a dangerous weapon they are.
The dropping of the atomic bombs in World War II by the Americans on the Japanese city of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was a very important part of World War II. In fact the atomic bomb ended the war between America and Japan. But this was just one of the important events during World War II. The Bombing of Pearl Harbor, where the Japanese attacked U.S. soil and killed 2,403 people, was also a reason why the americans bombed Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Some believe that the United States was right in the decision of dropping these bombs on Japan because of the attack on a U.S state while others believe that we should never have dropped the bombs.
President Harry Truman gave an executive order in 1945 to drop to atomic bombs in popular downtown cities in Japan. With the guidance of many scientists and political leaders President Truman made the extremely tough decision to drop the bombs. After listening to arguments from both sides President Truman came to the conclusion that dropping bombs would be the best thing to do for this war. It would also show that the United States had an extreme military power. Many American politicians were for the idea of dropping the bomb, because they believed that it was the only way to end the war and get Japan to surrender.
