I strongly agree that Bernie Sanders should be the president of the United States of America because of the fact that he has a lot of experience with that. Bernie Sanders was the Mayor of Burlington Vermont from 1981 to 1989 which is about 8 years. He was then elected to the House of Representatives in 1991, where he remained until 2007, at the time he was elected to the U.S. Senate. Sanders was re-elected to the Senate in 2012, and has continued to be in that capacity to the present day. If my math is correct that is 32 years in actual elective office.
Trump plans to take out DACA which is a program that million of youth Immigrants use. Many dreamers rely on DACA since it provides them permit for work and protection from deportation. Trump wants to reduce the number of Immigrants in the U.S He pledged to cancel DACA during his presidential campaign. In the article “Homeland Security” by Alan Gomez, He states that about 750,000 Illegal Immigrants receive DACA which leads to a attainable education.
Only a few politicians are fighting for the democratic seat in the presidential election and Bernie Sanders in making his way up to number one. His beliefs on everything from healthcare to gun control help establish him as a frontrunner. He looks to improve America by addressing the country 's main trouble spots.
