Forced vaccinations are vaccinations that are required to be received by the government. Many of the vaccinations required are for severe diseases and infections such as tetanus, chickenpox, influenza, measles, and polio. These diseases are correlated to be some of the most threatening around the world. Most of those vaccines are given to people normally when they are children. Vaccinations are given in spite of any chance of catching severe diseases or infections in future time. In an article from Trudy Mercadal she declares, “Scientists are evaluating vaccinations and making them more efficient for people to use, and are limiting the risk factors involved in them” (Mercadal). Some people receive allergic reactions from the ingredients in the vaccinations. In an article by Alex Newman it states, “The possible negative effects of the vaccine is that the H1N1 version of the swine flu is not very lethal in comparison with other variants of the flu” (Newman). The risk of receiving the flu is far more dangerous than the risks you may receive when you choose to receive the vaccination. Vaccinations do come with risks though. The risks are nowhere near as bad as the disease that is being prevented. Vaccinations are the best way to keep the body from receiving the dangerous diseases and infections from entering your body. Although allergic reactions can be deadly, it is very rare to get them. Doctors are limiting the risk to get them every day. They believe that everyone needs to receive their vaccinations, though. They find this to be very important and they need people to understand that. Diseases spread quick throughout a community especially during their season. Doctors say it is best to receive the vaccination for that specific disease, so it will not spread throughout the community. Vaccinations do come with risks that include rashes, allergic reactions and other little diseases, but they do have the power to keep you safe from far more dangerous
