The technology have been developing ever since humans were created. Recently, Google have released Project Glass to invent wearable technology, commonly known as the Google Glass. “Google Glass is a wearable computer developed by Google…The best line to describe Glass is “There when you need it. Out of the way when you don’t.” Glass is designed to complement a smartwatch, smartphone, tablet, or computer.” (Tang, 2014). Google Glass contains number of benefits and shortcomings and the same time. These wearable technology may provide convenient life, but at the same time, it may put people’s privacy at stake.
The biggest reason why people purchase Google Glass is its functions. According to Toluna Topics, 37% of American citizens answered the reason for purchasing Google Glass is web access, and 35% of people said photography (2015). The people’s reaction …show more content…

Thus, states are considering law suits to ban Google Glass (Flacy, 2013). As a newborn technology, Google Glass contains such problems to be a common technology among people. The law suits that limits Google Glass will be introduced in future and people might fear the wearable technology. Collectively, it might not be a wise choice to buy a Google Glass when it is not settled among people yet.
Google Glass is only a developing technology, and it has not been largely commercialized around the world yet. This means most of the people around the world have not experienced facing Google Glass yet. Therefore, the pros and cons of the product cannot be compared yet.
