There has been. increase of mass shootings in the United States. From the Orlando shooting to the two police shootings that had a 24 hour difference, people are claiming that gun control should be applied. If we were to enforce a gun control policy it wouldn’t make a difference. The policy wouldn’t work for many reasons, one being, in order for a gun to work, a person is needed to pull the trigger and there is clearly someone behind the whole plan, another reason that it wouldn’t work is because people will just find other ways to create mass killings. Why are we blaming the gun when obviously there is a person behind the gun and the plan? Of course there has to be someone in control if there were to be a shooting. All it takes is just one comment or even just one action that can cause the shooter to point and shoot. Manteen, the man who created mayhem at the Pulse nightclub was said to be triggered which is one of the reasons why he pulled out his gun.
