In today’s society, many people have the insight on the concept of controlling or omitting guns from citizens in the United States. With all of the horrific tragedies and various threats that have appeared in recent times, most would turn to withdrawing of the purchasing of guns, however; this does not solve the problem, as an evil person or group can and will discover a source to cause harm or deaths. There is a lot of discussion and criticism towards the President and higher officials, which have put restrictions and regulations towards this situation. Controlling of one specific weapon will associate with the obviations to other weapons, but it will also corrupt the vial people to seek other ways to peruse his or hers’ vicious acts. The incidents of the Florida shootings, which occurred, has been a major centering issue for society. The people of the area and across the country seek out the President and higher authorities for one solo purpose, ultimate gun control. These actions not only cover the issue of people dying from a mass shooting, but they also introduce other forms of murder or harm to emerge. Some surveys illustrate that the states that permit open carriage of guns have a twenty-three percent lower crime rate, and the murder rates of these states are five percent lesser. However, these actions will not decrease the actions of gun murders, because if a citizen is a legalized gun carrier, he or she has full access to carry it anywhere he or she may please. Many people today have some form of weapon with them at all times, because of the amount of unsafe situations occurring. Home safety flags a major reason for a citizen to carry a gun, which provides a person with a sense of relief, and it can be the lifesaver in a moment’s notice. Guns not only act as a self-defense mechanism, but they also can be used to intimidate an opposing attacker. Law enforcements also carry guns to ensure the safety of the public, and they react quicker than a person could in a situation.
