Why would the government let people walk around with guns? I wonder if stronger gun laws would really slow down all the deaths? Maybe gun laws won't stop people from getting guns? Theres two types of people with guns. There are people that carry guns just for their safety, and there's also people like gang members or just ignorant people. The gun laws could be way stronger to save people's lives.
Some people say that guns should just be sold to anybody at anytime. They are wrong because you can’t just sell someone a gun with no proof of having a gun license. There are people out here that are crazy, if they had a gun they would be doing a lot of stupid thing. They only want people with a permit to have guns, because you hardly see someone with a gun card killing anyone (Wright). There's only two ways it can go either it could go bad or it will slow things down a little. Gang violence is about 50% of all violent crimes in this country (Willis). I guarantee there are lots of people around the world who have lost family to gun violence. The United States has the highest rate of firearm deaths, more than thirty thousand a year. They even talk about how they wanted teachers to have firearms at school because of everything that has been happening. In the 1980’s and 1990’s young people in the United States they began solving problems with guns.
An updated background check before a person buys a weapon would probably calm something’s down. No matter what there’s always going to be guns in the streets. They also said that banning guns or making the gun law stronger would just make things a lot worse in the United States(Greer).
