The United States was built and protected with guns. However, today so many individuals misuse the fact that as Americans we our guaranteed the right to own a weapon. With this misuse, Americans are wavering on the fact that lawmakers will take our guns away or make it more difficult to get a gun. In this essay I will explain the gun laws, reason to change legal age in which to buy a gun, and reason not to change the legal age to purchase a gun. The Americans have owned guns since the beginning of the American history currently there are 22 percent of people that own one or more guns. and the second Amendment,which states- “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”(Constitution, 1796)
