Children about as young as 4-5 know exactly where their parents keep firearms. About 35 percent of these children admitted to already using these weapons. Gun violence has been around since the existence of guns. The government has put some laws on guns in the past, but it seems people still refuse to follow them. The United States does not need stricter gun control because it will not be effective and will only cause more issues.

Since the beginning of guns, criminals have always gotten their hands on them. Therefore, any new laws on guns won't be effective for keeping criminals from getting guns. Criminals will get guns regardless of what laws are made. In "Does the U.S Need Tougher Gun-Control," the author states that our current gun laws haven’t stopped anyone from getting guns. The author also added Gun sellers can also sell guns privately, which means they aren't required to have a background check.
