The United States is bitterly divided. Issues of great concern, such as the rise of mass shootings, are partisanized. Both sides of the debate will not comprise or listen to what their opponents have to say. Groups from both sides can only agree that one innocent life taken from gun violence is one too many.

In this world, there are too many people that have died from guns. Some of them have died in large-scale attacks, some of them were in a gun accident. Many want more gun control laws to be passed. In fact, the gun control law must be passed through, because this can be more effective to protect people. people always thinking if they have a gun, they can protect themselves.
However, it is important to note that the Second Amendment was written in a time when guns were far less powerful than they are today. The founding fathers could not have imagined the type of weapons that are now readily available to the public. Additionally, the Second Amendment does not give Americans an unlimited right to own any type of weapon they want. It is the responsibility of the government to regulate and ensure the safety of its citizens.

Unachievable Controversy abounds in the public and private arena today with gun control once again, at the forefront. Gun control is such a hot subject it is often the first topic discussed on the nightly news and serves as a heated discussion around the dinner table in many homes. Regardless of gun control laws, people who want to kill with guns can easily find guns to kill with. Constitutional protection, Ineffective policies, and political division clearly demonstrate that gun control is not working.
Anthony Borges’ life will be forever changed as a result of the school shooting in Parkland, Florida. When CBS News interviewed him he should have been at soccer practice. However, he had just come off a ventilator and was struggling to breathe. He had underwent eight surgeries and was scheduled for another one. Borges was shot five times in the recent school shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
Another reason why gun control is barely talked about is because political people do not want to approach the topic, they could potentially lose supporters. If a political campaigner is for gun control some of their supporters could be against gun control and vice versa. It was not until 1992 when politicians openly showed they were for gun control. In the book "Shots in the Dark”, it stated that Bill Clinton was the first politician to be for gun control. Bill Clinton openly endorsed the death penalty as a result of gun control.
Guns, one of the main reasons why we have so many shootings and is one of the causes millions of people are dying each year . Lives are being taken away from us and no one has done anything about it so far, there has to be a stop to all of this. I am against the amendment that we have in the United States about the gun control. These mass shootings and deaths need to have a rule to stop all of these terrible things in our United States. Therefore, I propose a 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution stating that Guns should be reduced in the United States
As long as guns have been around people have debated on whether guns should be legal or not. This debate has been floating around since the Second Amendment. The government can't get a grip on this debate to make a decision. One reasoning that guns should not be illegal is that guns are needed for protection at some points in time. People with permits are usually not the ones that commit the crime.
Gun control has been a hot debate for many years now because of all the violence. Many government officials, citizens, and lobbyist have been debating over gun control for over a century and still there has not been an answer to the current debate. With the rise in gun violence people believe that gun control will take the Constitutional right away from U.S. citizens. Changing any of the gun laws will not stop gun violence; it will only take away the second amendment right.
According to a poll by CNN, forty-nine percent of Americans support stricter gun control, while fifty percent oppose. With the question of gun control constantly brought up with well thought out arguments from both sides, the topic has become one of the most controversial issues in American Society today. Before delving into this issue, a person must understand what the current regulations on firearms are. The highest law in the land, the United States Constitution, made the original laws on gun control as stated in the second amendment.
According to the Second Amendment, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” The Second Amendment specifically states that “the right of the people to keep

There are as many people who advocate for pro gun laws as the people who are opposed, which is the reason why gun control has become one of the most controversial topics as of right now. America is truly split between those who advocate for gun control and those who are opposed.
