You ever wonder what it’s like inside of prison? What happens in there or what can occur if you're not careful in there. And why can prison be so unsafe and bad. Well obviously it’s bad because there are so many dangerous criminals in there. But most of them are in there for a good; reason, they might of done something that was illegal and they got caught. But the rest are because they did a serious crime which led them to be inside of prison for almost the rest of their life.
The reason on why we have prisons now is because they keep the dangerous people locked up so they can learn their lesson and keep them away from society. They keep them in there because they can be dangerous to the people around them or they may try to do that mistake …show more content…

Which can lead them to serve more time inside of prison which is a harder possibility for them to get out. In prison almost 3,351 inmates have died in 2012 and more are dying today. Due to them being suicidal or being killed by other inmates inside of the prison. But mostly some of them die because of health issues.
Most of these things happen because the people are locked up go crazy and decide to kill themselves because they just can’t take it being locked up all day inside a room with four walls no windows and bars in front of them. So they make a choice either them being locked up for the rest of their lives in misery or just taking their life away so they won't have to suffer the mistake that they have made in life. The state prison has one of the largest inmate population, which leads all inmates in custody every year.
In conclusion prison is a place where many people go for making just small mistakes. They can stay in their for many years depending on what the crime was. ¨If somebody's in prison for nonviolent, drug usage, and never committed a hard crime, they should be pardoned and let out ¨ - Ron Paul But not all of these people deserve to be there, they should be given a second chance for the mistake they had
