Saturday Night Fever seem to me to be realistic and it fitted well with time and setting of the film. The characters within the film seemed as if they were living in New York their entire lives because of their thick New York accent. Another great aspect that made the film realistic was that the film was shot in the streets of New York City. The plot also made the film realistic, seeing Tony deal with his family disappointed views of him, working at a dead-end job, realizing that there more in life than what he thought there was. The plot seemed realistic because we all have to deal with more than one situation at a time while still trying to find our calling in life.
