Arts of the Renaissance The arts of the Renaissance, was the time and period that the history of it was a big meaning to that time period. In the later 14th century, the proto-Renaissance was stifled by plague and war, because Italian scholars and artists saw themselves as reawakening to the ideals and achievements of classical culture ( http://www.history.com/topics/renaissance-art). There were artist that were “famous” for their arts. There was Leonardo Da Vinci (1452-1519), Michelangelo (1475-1564), Raphael (1483-1520), and Titian (1488-1576). Each of them were influenced by the arts in different ways.

Da Vinci thought he was connected with science and nature. He had many diaries of everything he had wanted to do, he filled it with all kinds of secrets and ideas that were according to him smart and helped him out. When the people finally noticed the work they made it big to where he eventually became a big part of the Renaissance because people loved his thoughts and work. Michelangelo, he was the greatest artists of the Italian Renaissance period. He had a blend of psychological insight, physical realism and intensity (http://www.history.com/topics/michelangelo). The Catholic Church recognized his works the Church appreciated the work he had done. In the early times of his work his father did not like the idea of his work he didn’t think it would get anywhere so it was unnecessary. Then about a year later his work was starting to get recognized and people were amused by the things he did. He only called himself as a sculptor because that was what he was best at. Raphael was a Italian painter as well and he was influenced by the things in his life. Titian as well was a Italian painter that experimented colors of his work. They all made the Renaissance period a joyable time to be in.
